色の名前：Iro no namae – Name of color

How many color do you know? These are some colors we commonly use.

 We have two types of words for color： Nouns and Adjectives.
Some words like black, white, red... you can just add い(i) after the color to make adjective forms.

Ex)

黒(Kuro) ：　This is the noun form of black.

黒い(Kuroi)：This is the adjective form of black.

Black cat ＝ 黒い猫(Kuroi neko)

Some of the words for color, you can't make into adjective form. So if you want to say "green hat," you would say :

緑の帽子(Midori no boushi)

N stands for Noun. Adj stands for Adjective.
